Pune City: 876 New COVID Cases, 37 Deaths Reported Today
Pune, Aug 31, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1384 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 876 new patients were detected while 37 people died today. Today swab samples of 2847 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 95,373 out of which 78,070 have been cured while 2304 have died. There are still 14,999 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 876 critical patients out of which 527 are on ventilator support.
Across Maharashtra, 11,158 people got discharged from hospitals while 11,852 new cases and 184 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 7,92,541 out of which 5,73,559 people have recovered and 24,583 have died. There are 1,94,056 active cases.
