Pune : Clashes Reported Between Two Groups In Sahkarnagar During Ganesh Aarti, Video Goes Viral
Sahkarnagar 29th Sept 2023: Clashes were reported between two groups in the Sahkarnagar area on Thursday leading to several people getting injured in the incident. The incident was recorded on camera and the videos have gone viral on social media platforms. The incident took place a few meters away from Sahkarnagar Police Station.
According to police, the clashes erupted after a group of people were dancing while the aarti was being performed on the last day of Ganesh festival. The members of ganesh mandal performing aarti objected to the other group which led to further clashes. The police said that two to three people have been detained in the matter and a case under relevant sections will be registered at the Sahkarnagar Police Station.
