Pune: Class 12th Student Found Dead At Home, Police Suspect Suicide

Shaniwar Peth, 27th December 2022: An 18-year-old youth who studied in class 12th allegedly died by suicide at his home in Shaniwar Peth, Pune.
Police are investigating the cause of his extreme step.

The deceased has been identified as Sudarshan Maruti Jharre. The incident took place on Monday around 7 pm.

Vishrambaug police station has registered a case of accidental death (AD) in this regard.

According to Senior Police Inspector Sunil Mane, Sudarshan was staying with his parents in Shaniwar Peth. His parents are employed. As usual, both went to work on Monday. Sudarshan was alone at home at that time. When they returned, the door was locked from the inside. They shouted, but as there was no response from inside, the family broke the door and entered the house. At that time, it was noticed that Sudarshan had hanged himself in the bathroom.

As soon as the police got information about this, a team reached the spot. Police sent the body to Sassoon Hospital for autopsy. Further investigation is going on.
