Pune: Class 7 Student Offers Contract for Rape and Murder of Classmate; Principal and Teachers Face Charges

Daund, 28th January 2025: A shocking incident has come to light in a reputed school in Daund taluka of Pune district, where a Class 7 student allegedly offered Rs 100 to another student from a different class to rape and murder his classmate. The police have registered a case against the school’s principal and two teachers for attempting to suppress the matter.

According to the police, the incident began when the accused student forged his parents’ signature on a progress report, which was witnessed by the victim, a girl from his class. The girl reported this to her teachers, angering the boy. In retaliation, he approached another student from a different class and offered him Rs 100 to commit the heinous act. The boy then informed the victim about the plan, prompting her to disclose the matter to her family after returning home from school.

When the victim’s family approached the school authorities, including the principal and teachers, to complain about the boy, they allegedly tried to suppress the issue by making baseless allegations against the girl. Following this, the victim’s parents filed a complaint with the police.

The Daund Police have registered a case against the principal and two teachers for their alleged involvement in covering up the incident. The accused boy will soon be presented before the Juvenile Justice Board for further proceedings. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
