Pune: CM Fadnavis Calls Hinjawadi IT Employees, Company Representatives for Traffic Solutions

Hinjawadi, 9th July 2025: In a swift response to growing concerns over daily traffic congestion in the Hinjawadi IT Park area, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has called for an urgent high-level meeting at Vidhan Bhavan, Mumbai on July 10 at 1:45 pm. The initiative follows repeated demands raised in the Legislative Assembly by MLAs Shankar Jagtap and Mahesh Landge, who highlighted the pressing need to address the gridlock affecting thousands of tech professionals and commuters.

What sets this meeting apart is the Chief Minister’s decision to invite not just government officials, but also a select group of IT employees, HR heads, and company representatives working in the Hinjawadi region. The move is seen as a direct effort to engage with those who are most impacted by the worsening traffic conditions.

Chinchwad Constituency MLA Shankar Jagtap emphasized the urgency of the issue: “Thousands of employees are suffering due to severe jams. Time, fuel, and mental health are being affected daily. Hinjawadi was developed as a major IT hub, but infrastructure has not kept pace. It’s time to act.”

With major IT firms, thousands of employees, and key industry players affected, this meeting is expected to deliver concrete solutions. “The CM’s quick response shows sensitivity to the concerns of citizens and professionals. We hope for time-bound implementation of key decisions,” said MLA Mahesh Landge.
