Pune: College Girl Molested By Friends After Getting Accused Of Stealing
Wagholi, 3rd December 2022: A young woman, studying at a renowned college in Pune, was molested by her friends. Reportedly, her friends accused her of theft. The accused then forcefully took Rs 80,000 from her by threatening to make the video viral.
The incident took place on October 17 in Wagholi, under the Lonikand police station area. A case has been registered against five people, including three young women, at Lonikand police station. The victim’s mother filed a complaint in this regard.
More information, in this case, is that the victim girl is a resident of Mundia Khera village in Haryana. She was studying at an institute in Wagholi. The accused also studied in the same institute.
As they were studying in the same college, the victim and the two accused were staying in a flat in Wagholi. One day, some things from their room were stolen. As the victim became suspicious of the house owner, she changed the room and went to stay with other girls.
Meanwhile, while staying in another room, the accused went to that flat and abused the victim girl and accused her of stealing. Taking her to a room, saying that she stole the laptop and gold chain, the accused took off her clothes forcefully and started searching.
They also threatened to make a video and make it viral if the victim told anyone anything about it. Rs 80,000 were transferred online from her by threatening to lodge a police complaint against her.
The accused started hitting her, demanding more money. After the victim screamed, bystanders came to the spot, and after that, the accused fled away. Terrified by all this matter, the young woman went to her native village.
After going there, the girl’s mother lodged a complaint at Sirsa police station in Haryana state. This complaint has been filed at Lonikand Police Station. Police have registered a case in this regard, and further investigation is underway.
