Pune: Copying On the Rise For Class 12 Exams, Action Taken Against 50 Students During Physics Paper

Pune, 28th February 2023: Action was taken against 50 students who cheated during the examination of Logic and MCVC Paper 1 and Physics subject of Class 12. It includes 19 students from various examination centres in Pune Divisional Board.

The HSC board’s class 12 examination began on Tuesday, 23rd February. The action was taken against 39 students for copying in papers of language subjects other than English. Then, on Monday, 27th February, Physics, Logic, and MCVC Paper 1 were scheduled during the morning session. Many students find this topic challenging, which led to an increase in copying at many centres. As many as 50 students were found to be copying in examination centres in the state.

The action was taken against 22 students from the Aurangabad Divisional Board. 19 students were caught copying at examination centres in Pune, three students from Amravati and Latur each, and one student each from Nagpur, Kolhapur, and Nashik boards.

The Board of Education stated that the Bharati team will visit the examination centre, and vigilance will be maintained so that the students do not indulge in incorrect activities.
