Pimpri, April 27, 2020: Pimpri Chinchwad Police made a boy’s day by celebrating his birthday with him, as his father stranded in the USA was unable to wish him.

The father, who is stranded in the USA due to Coronavirus lockdown, tried to wish his son a happy birthday. However, due to technical reasons, they could not get connected. Therefore, the father sent an e-mail to the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner requesting him to wish his son on his behalf. Police also took note of the e-mail and went to the boy’s house on Sunday night to cut the cake and wish him well.

After Pimpri-Chinchwad police shared a video of this unique birthday celebration by the officials from Sangvi police station, it  has set the netizens’ mood in happy mode in this gloomy time.

Vatsal Sharma is the name of the boy whose birthday was celebrated by the police. According to senior police inspector Dnyaneshwar Sable, Vatsal’s father had gone to the US for business. He is currently stranded there due to the closure of international flights. Sunday was his son Vatsal’s birthday.

The Commissioner of Police Sandeep Bishnoi sent the message to the Sangvi police station on receiving email from the father. Accordingly, Sangvi police cops made preparations for Vatsal’s birthday. At around 7.30 pm, they went to Vatsal’s house in Roseland Society in Pimple Saudagar. They gave him a birthday message from Vatsal’s father.
