Pune, 6th March 2025: The Shivajinagar court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Avinash Rathod and his wife, Vishakha, who fled to Dubai after allegedly defrauding over 600 investors in Pune of ₹125 crore. Investigations have revealed that the couple lured investors into putting money into the stock market through fraudulent schemes.

The Rathods operated under the company ‘APS Wealth Venture LLP’, using it to attract investors with promises of high returns. After fleeing to Dubai, Interpol’s assistance is being sought for their arrest. A complaint was initially filed by Dr. Jagdish Jadhav at Chatushrungi police station on April 20, 2023.

A preliminary investigation found that the couple cheated 10 people of ₹16 crore. As the scale of the fraud became evident, Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar transferred the case to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Pune Police. So far, statements from 51 investors have been recorded.
