Pune District Update: 86 COVID Death’s Reported in Last 24 Hours

Pune, Sep 39, 2020: With the addition of 2453 fresh Coronavirus positive yesterday, the total number of COVID cases has reached 280,723, in Pune district. Also, 3748 patients got discharged from hospitals while 86 people died.

 


Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 280,723 patients 2,35,384 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 6446 people have died. There are still 38,795 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 38,795, 16,531 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 1,154,881 people have been tested in the district.



The 280,723 patients include, 143,955 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 77,317 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 5470 from Cantonment areas, 41,519 are from Rural areas, and 12,462 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
