Hathras’ Gang-Rape Victim’s Death In Delhi, Severe Injuries By Gangsters With Tongue Biting

New Delhi/Hathras (UP), September 30, 2020: Hathras is ashamed of the inhuman act with the 19-year-old girl after the gang rape. This incident of gang rape has been named Nirbhaya 2. The struggle of the victim, who suffered inhuman acts after the gang-rape on 14 September in Hathras, ended at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi on Tuesday.

After the gang rape, the Dalit girl’s tongue was cut and terrible wounds were given. Four people have been arrested in this case, that too after the victim’s statement, otherwise, the police continued to protect the rapists. After this September 14 scandal, the police took eight days to register a case of gang rape.

Superintendent of Police Vikrant Veer confirmed the death of the victim. On Monday, she was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi from Jawaharlal Nehru (JN) Medical College, Aligarh after the condition became very critical. District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Laxkar said that the tongue of the victim has not been cut, but rather, her tongue has been cut with teeth while strangling. There are also bruises in the throat.

During this time she was undergoing treatment in ICU ward of JN Medical College, Aligarh. After this, she was shifted to Delhi Safdarjung Hospital on Monday. There was no improvement in the condition of the victim in Aligarh. After her family expressed a desire to get her treated in Delhi, she was sent to Delhi AIIMS on Monday morning.

The police have arrested four accused in this case. According to Superintendent of Police Vikrant Veer, the girl had not told the police about the gang-rape incident but later in a statement to the magistrate, she alleged those rapists named Sandeep, Ramu, Luv Kush and Ravi had made her a victim of their lust. They strangled her while trying to kill her when she resisted.

September 14: This incident of murder and gang-rape occurred with a 19-year-old girl from village Bulgadhi in Chandpa Kotwali area. That day the victim had gone to fetch fodder from the farm with her mother. On the mother’s complaint, the police had earlier registered a case against Sandeep of the village. The girl had a neck injury. She had trouble breathing. Due to this, she was admitted to JN Medical College. The girl could not even speak properly.

September 19: Sent the first accused Sandeep to jail.

September 22: On the basis of the victim’s statement, the police named three more youths while increasing the sections of the gang rape.

September 23: Second accused sent to jail.

September 25: Third accused sent to jail.

September 26: Fourth accused sent to jail.

September 29: Victim succumbs to injuries.
