Yerwada, 3rd March 2022: The officials from the social security cell of the Pune City Police Crime Branch have nabbed two persons who operated in a prostitution racket in Viman Nagar and Yerwada.
The arrested persons have been identified as Kuldip Prasad Mohan Prasad Mahato (26) and Jaishankar Prasad Ramesh Sah (20), both are natives of Jharkhand.
On February 28, after getting information, SSC officials laid a trap and sent decoy customers. The accused asked them to book rooms in East Field Hotel in Sakore Nagar locality of Viman Nagar. After the rooms were booked, the accused brought two girls in a tourist vehicle.
A team led by senior police inspector Arvind Mane nabbed the accused and rescued the two girls. An FIR has been registered against the accused at the Yerwada police station.
