Pune Crime Branch Busts Sex Racket at Pashan Spa; Three Women Rescued
Pashan, 10th October 2025: The Crime Branch of Pune City Police, acting under the Anti-Human Trafficking and Immoral Traffic Prevention Unit, raided a spa in Pashan that was allegedly operating a sex racket under the pretext of a massage center. During the operation, officers rescued three women who were reportedly drawn into the trade with false promises of easy money.
According to the complaint registered by police constable Ishwar Mhatardev Andhale, the accused, identified as Amar Dattu Kamble, had rented a flat at Minister Residency near Sai Chowk and was allegedly using it for the illegal business without the knowledge of the property owner.
Investigations have revealed that the women were trapped and coerced into prostitution, exposing the exploitative network operating behind the spa’s façade.
