Pune: Crime Branch Seizes 114 Gas Cylinders In Black Market Bust At Sinhgad Road
Pune, 5th April 2023: The Pune Police have taken significant action against the black market of cylinders, resulting in the arrest of four individuals. These four accused were caught stealing gas from domestic cylinders and have been handcuffed by the Pune Police. The crime branch has uncovered practice of illegally extracting gas from household cylinders and filling them in commercial cylinders.
The racket was discovered in the Vadgaon Budruk area of Sinhagad road in Pune. The police have seized 114 gas cylinders, and the four accused have been arrested in connection with this black market racket, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Amol Zende said.
