Pune: Criminals Armed With Swords Terrorise People In Kondhwa, Damage Hospital And Close Shops Forcefully

Kondhwa, 9th June 2021: An incident has come to light in the Kondhwa area of Pune, where a criminal gang caused chaos on Monday. They also broke a window of a hospital and forced shopkeepers to shut their shops.

On Monday, two people suddenly came into the Shifa Polyclinic of Dr Khan at Ashrafnagar. They asked two women and their relatives to get the shutter down of the hospital. Hearing a noise, Dr Khan came outside to see what had happened. The criminals also asked him to shut off the hospital but then when he refused, they broke a window by hitting a word on it.

Later, they went outside and forced shopkeepers to close their shops. Then they tried to hurt the bystanders at Ashrafnagar lane no 12 but those people ran away.

They also threatened to close down the Medical store if the owner did not give them free medicines. Then they went on to vegetable vendor Salim Sheikh and overturned his vegetable cart. Meanwhile, a person bit the left hand of Irfan Sayyad.

On the next day, while Dr Khan was going to the police station to register a complaint, they again came and tried to induce terror into the locality. But the citizens held them this time and took away their swords and their weapons.

The gang men went away threatening to kill anyone who goes to the police against them. However, the Kondhwa police station has registered a case against them and the investigation is on.
