Pune: Cylinder Catches Fire At Hotel Tirumala Bhawan, No Injuries Or Fatalities Reported

Hadapsar, 11th October 2022: A fire broke out at Hotel Tirumala Bhawan Food Corner, Hadapsar, Sadesatra Nali, at around 1 am. When the fire report reached the control room, the Hadapsar Fire Station fire brigade was dispatched immediately.

 

On reaching the spot, the team examined the fire in the hotel, took out one of the exploded cylinders from the kitchen, moved the other six cylinders to a safe place, and controlled the fire within five minutes by spraying water using a hose pipe. No one was injured or died in this incident. The fire brigade said a gas cylinder leaked in the kitchen, and one of the cylinders exploded and caught fire.

A major disaster was averted, as the fire brigade personnel reached on time and moved the six cylinders to a safe place promptly. Hotel items – including tables, chairs, electrical wiring, and others – were burnt.
