Pune–Danapur Special Extended Till November, 63 Additional Trips Announced
Pune, 21st September 2026: Central Railway has extended the operation of its Train on Demand (TOD) special service between Pune and Danapur to meet the anticipated additional passenger demand during the festive season. The extended services will operate as Pooja Specials.
The Pune–Danapur–Pune Special (Train Nos. 01449/01450) will continue with the same route, timings, composition, stoppages, fare, category and maintenance pattern as the existing services.
Train No. 01449 Pune–Danapur Special, which was earlier scheduled to operate up to September 28, 2026, has been extended from September 29 to November 30, 2026. The extension will comprise 63 additional trips.
The corresponding return service, Train No. 01450 Danapur–Pune Special, will operate for the extended trips from October 1 to December 2, 2026, also comprising 63 additional trips.
Reservation and Ticketing
Advance reservation for the extended trips of Train No. 01449 Pune–Danapur Special on special charges is available at all computerised Passenger Reservation System (PRS) ticket counters and through the official IRCTC website.
Passengers have been advised to verify the exact arrival and departure timings at their respective en-route stations before commencing their journey through the Indian Railways Enquiry portal or the official NTES app.
