Pune: Defence Exhibition Showcasing Arms, Equipment On 13, 14 And 15 December
Pune, 11th December 2021: On the occasion of 75 years of “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” Directorate General of Quality Assurance, a premier Organisation under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence will be organising the Defence Exhibition at Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Ammunition), Khadki on 13 December, Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Engineering Equipment), Aundh Camp, Pune on 14 December and at Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Special Vehicles), Dehu Road on 15 December.
The Directorate General of Quality Assurance provides Quality Assurance (QA) cover for the entire range of Arms, Ammunitions, Equipment and stores Supplied to Armed Forces.
As a part of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan and the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving preference to Make in India, DGQA will be Showcasing the wide range of equipment dealt by them to the public.
It will enable active participation and involvement of Indian Vendors in the manufacturing and supply of Defence equipment to the Indian Armed forces. Local Public and College / School students will also acquire technical knowledge on Defence equipment, advanced technologies used in the Defence and Quality Assurance techniques.
