Pune: Defence Minister To Address Ex-Servicemen Gathering and Pension Adalat In Camp

Camp, 24th January 2024: The Pension Adalat and Ex-Servicemen Meeting, initially scheduled for February 8 and 9, has been rescheduled to February 15 and 16. The event, organized by the Office of the Principal Controller of Defense Accounts to address the concerns of ex-servicemen, will commence at 10 am at Milkha Singh Sports Complex, in front of Command MT, Ghorpadi, Pune Camp.

The gathering aims to provide a platform for ex-servicemen to resolve issues related to pensions. Notable attendees include the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Defence, officers from Army Headquarters in New Delhi, as well as representatives from ECHS, AWHO, DSW, Pune District Sainik Welfare Office, Record Offices, Army Welfare Placement Organization, PCDA, and Pension Prayagraj.

Stalls will be set up through all record offices to facilitate discussions and address concerns. This initiative is designed to assist ex-servicemen, widows, veteran wives, veteran mothers, and veteran fathers in the district regarding pension, ECHS, CSD canteen, and other related matters.

District Soldier Welfare Officer Lt. Col. SD Hange (Retd) of Pune has appealed to ex-servicemen to submit three copies of the application form, available at the District Soldier Welfare Office in Pune, by February 2 if they have any issues regarding pension, ECHS, CSD canteen, etc.
