Pune: Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Praises Heroes For Saving Young Woman’s Life In Sadashiv Peth
Pune, 29th June 2023: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis congratulated Leshpal Javalge and Harshad Patil for their brave act of saving a young woman during an assault in Sadashiv Peth, Pune.
The incident took place near the Perugate Police Chowky last Tuesday when Shantanu Jadhav attacked a 20-year-old girl with a Koyta out of unrequited love. Fortunately, the girl was rescued from the attack by Leshpal and Harshad. The heroic actions of these two individuals have garnered recognition from various organizations for their efforts in protecting the young woman.
Following the incident, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis personally reached out to Leshpal and Harshad to commend their courageous act. Additionally, BJP City President Jagdish Mulik also contacted them to express his appreciation.
