Pune: Digital Revolution in Legal Proceedings: E-Filing Center Inaugurated at Vadgaon Maval Court
Vadgaon Maval, 21st November 2023: The Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, in collaboration with AIR Vision Infinity Pvt Ltd and Vadgaon Maval Vakil Bar Association, inaugurated an E-Filing and Facility Center at the District and Sessions Court. The inauguration was officiated by District and Sessions Judge Gandhi in the presence of several esteemed legal professionals and dignitaries.
The event witnessed the participation of Civil Judges CR Umredkar, RN Chavan, SR Berge, and AS Agarwal, along with prominent figures including the Vice President of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, Adv Rajendra Umap, and Bar Council Member Harshad Nimbalkar. Vadgaon Maval Bar Association President Sanjay Bandre, Vice President Chandrakant Khandve, and Secretary Devidas Marathe, among others, graced the occasion.
During the inauguration, District and Sessions Judge Gandhi emphasized the transformative impact of E-filing on court proceedings. He highlighted the benefits of a paperless court system, preventing the loss of documents, and ensuring the smooth functioning of legal processes. The implementation of E-filing was also praised for its potential to save both time and money for the parties involved.
Adv Rajendra Umap and Adv Harshad Nimbalkar, in their guidance to young lawyers, underscored the significance of embracing digital practices in the legal domain. They acknowledged the potential of E-filing to enhance efficiency and streamline legal proceedings.
In addition to the inauguration, the Vadgaon Maval Vakil Bar Association organized a Diwali Faral program, adding a festive touch to the occasion.
