Pune: Director Rajdutt honoured at a special program
Pune, 4th March 2023: Well-known director Rajdutt was honoured by MIT World Peace University founder Dr Vishwanath Karad at a special program titled ‘Sanman Chitratapasavicha’ at Yashwantrao Chavan auditorium in Kothrud today.
The program was organised by singer Manisha Nishal’s organisation ‘Mahak’ to commemorate its 30 years.
Rajdutt, who directed 29 Marathi films, said that he was never satisfied or content with his work and hence always kept improving.
Rajdutt also narrated his life and cinematic journey in an extensive interview with Rajesh Damle. Actresses Asha Kale, Actress Leela Gandhi, Jaymala Inamdar, writer Pratibha Modak, singer Dr Salil Kulkarni, writer Anand Madgulkar, Abhay Sarpotdar, Kishore Sarpotdar of Poona Guest House, and Amit Kulkarni of Get Set Holidays were present on the occasion.
A musical program, comprising songs from films directed by Rajdutt, was held. The songs were presented by singers Manisha Nishal, Jitendra Abhyankar and wonderboy Prithviraj. The program was supported by Get Set Go Holidays Private Limited and Poona Guest House. The felicitation program was moderated by Ajit Gosavi.
