Pune: Disappointment Of Freshers From IT Companies In Hinjewadi! Neglecting Freshers To Join Work Even After Giving Joining Letter

Hinjewadi, 30th January 2023: Renowned IT companies in Hinjewadi have not hired as many as 200 freshers (novices) even after giving appointment letters for the job. This was revealed in a month-long Google survey conducted by the Forum for IT Employees. The number of young people making complaints is increasing day by day and they say that when they ask the company management about the appointment, these young people are not even appreciated.

Regarding the same, justice will be demanded by knocking on the doors of the government. The time has come for renowned IT companies worldwide to cut staff. Its results are also visible in IT companies in Hinjewadi. Many companies are laying off old employees and focusing on hiring freshers at lower salaries. IT companies are giving appointment letters for jobs after completion of education. However, the period of actual appointment is given after six months, a year. It has been revealed that even after this period is over, these youths are not being hired. In this regard, the Forum for IT Employees had raised issues with the state’s Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil. The office bearers of the IT Forum said that they will take action after getting a detailed report from the complainants.

Accordingly, as the youth were afraid to make direct complaints on behalf of the forum, an online Google survey was conducted. In this survey, youths who were not employed despite being given appointment letters were urged to file complaints. For that, it was requested mention the name, mobile number, and names of the related companies. It has been assured that the names of the complainants will remain with the forum only and will not be disclosed. According to this, as many as 200 complaints from youth have been submitted to the Forum for IT Employees in a month. Taking the report of these complaints, the government will present its questions to the court.

Pawanjit Mane, a Member of, the State IT Committee said, “Reputed IT companies are giving recruitment letters for the job. But they are delaying joining the work for six months or a year. Also, some have not been hired at all. We are going to report to the Minister of Higher and Technical Education Chandrakant Patil, about the complaints received in the Google Survey. It will be followed up for further action.”

A team of 15 people is selected for jobs from reputed IT companies in Hinjewadi after completion of education. Many are also given appointment letters. The joining period is given after six months so these youngsters ignore the jobs of other companies. In this regard, youths from IT are coming together and forming a team of 15 people to educate the youth. The company which is asking for immediate recruitment is advised to join immediately.
