Pune: Discharge Of Water From Khadakwasla Reduced To 11,906 Cusecs From Today; Citizens Advised To Take Necessary Precautions
Pune, 20th August 2022: From 13,981 cusecs of discharge from Khadakwasla dam spillway into Mutha river basin, it has been reduced to 11,906 cusecs from 10 am today (August 20).
Y.S. Bhandalkar, Assistant Engineer, Grade 1, Khadakwasla, Panshet and Varasgaon projects informed that there is a possibility of reducing or increasing the discharge again depending on the amount of rain received.
He also appealed to the citizens not to enter the riverbed. Any similar materials or animals in the riverbed should be moved immediately. Please inform the concerned citizens of the low-lying areas and take appropriate action. Everyone should take proper precautions and vigilance.
