Pune District: 2515 New Corona Patients, 11 Deaths Reported Today

Pune, 10th March 2021: With the addition of 2515 fresh Coronavirus disease (COVID19) positive today, the total number of COVID cases has reached 4,25,504 in the Pune district in the last one year. Also, 1335 patients got discharged from hospitals while eleven people died today.
Dr Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of a total of 4,25,504 patients 4,00,645 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 9341 people have died. There are still 15,687 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 24,40,275 people have been tested in the district.
The 4,25,504 patients include 2,11,521 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 1,10,703 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 7324 from Cantonment areas, 74,426 are from Rural areas, and 21,530 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
