The initiative, located in the new building of the District and Sessions Court in Shivajinagar, aims to provide comprehensive assistance, including legal aid, police protection, and emotional counseling.

The Help Desk was inaugurated under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the Pune District Legal Services Authority, Mahendra Mahajan. Speaking about the initiative, Sonali Patil, Secretary of the DLSA, emphasized its importance in empowering survivors to reclaim their dignity and reintegrate into society.
