Pune: Dog Waste Dispute Turns Violent: Three Family Members Brutally Assaulted in Dapodi
Dapodi, 4th June 2025: Due to the act of dumping dog waste in front of someone else’s door, three people were severely beaten in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The incident occurred on 27th May in Dapodi, and a 37-year-old woman filed a complaint at the Dapodi Police Station on Tuesday. A case has been registered against Sudhakar Shivaji Mhaske (45), a resident of Dapodi.
According to police reports, the accused Sudhakar, who lives next door to the complainant’s father, assaulted the complainant’s father for allegedly throwing dog waste at his door. He reportedly struck the victim’s head with a rickshaw key and slammed his head against the rickshaw, causing serious injuries. Sudhakar also allegedly abused the complainant and her brother’s wife, threatened to kill them, and physically assaulted them.
The complaint further states that the complainant’s father lost consciousness and has since become paralyzed.
