Pune: Dr Prakash Amte Re-Admitted To Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital For Cancer Treatment
Pune, 28th June 2022: Senior social worker Dr Prakash Amte has been re-admitted to Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune for treatment of cancer. Meanwhile, the hospital staff and families have appealed to outsiders not to visit to avoid the risk of infections.
In the first week of June, while coming to Pune for the graduation ceremony of the BJ Medical College, Dr Amte started to have some health issues. When he was admitted to the hospital, he was diagnosed with the onset of pneumonia and leukaemia. After recovering from pneumonia, he has been admitted to Mangeshkar Hospital for treatment of cancer.
Meanwhile, people close to Dr Amte have been informed that he is in good health and there is no cause for concern.
