Pune: Drugs worth Rs 10 Lakh Seized In Viman Nagar Area

Viman Nagar, 23rd December 2022: The Anti-Narcotics Squad of Pune city police has caught a person who came to sell drugs in the Viman Nagar area. Goods worth Rs 15.42 lakh, a motor, a mobile set, and cocaine were seized from him.

The name of the arrested person is Akhtar Nuralhoda Sheikh (34), currently residing at Kalwad Vasti, Dhanori, and a native of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The patrolling Anti-Narcotics team received information that Sheikh was coming to the Vimannagar area in a vehicle to sell drugs.

After that, the police team stopped in front of the entrance of Konarknagar Society in Viman Nagar. A police team laid a trap and caught him. After inspecting him, Rs 15,57,900 worth of items including 52 grams of cocaine worth Rs 10,43,400, motor, cash, and mobile phone were seized from him.

Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Amol Zende, ACP Gajanan Tompe, a team of Police Inspector Vinayak Gaikwad, Assistant Inspector Laxman Dhengle, Shaileja Jankar, and Vishal Shinde, Yogesh Mohite, Maruti Pardhi, Praveen Uttekar, Vishal Dalvi.
