Pune : Drunk Man Who Made Threat Call To Chhagan Bhujbal Also Dialed Dhananjay Munde
Pune 11th July : The Anti Extortion Cell of the Pune City Police on Tuesday arrested a 24-year-old man from Mahad for making threat calls to Minister Chhagan Bhujbal. The investigation revealed that the accused had also dialed two more ministers including NCP’s Dhananjay Munde and Dilip Valse Patil but he could only connect to Dhananjay Munde.
The caller issued death threat to the senior leaders by making call late at night under the influence of alcohol. According to reports, he was angry with the NCP leaders for going against Sharad Pawar to form a new group.
The police have already arrested the accused from a lodge in Mahad, Raigad. The accused had been identified as Prashant Patil who is a resident of Kolhapur. A case in this regard has been already registered at Koregaon Park Police Station and a seperate FIR was registered at Parli, Beed by the office of Dhananjay Munde.
