Pune: Elderly Man Dies After Being Hit By Speeding Bike, Thrown 50 Feet Away
Pune, 18th May 2022: A horrific road accident in Baramati has been caught on camera. While crossing the road, an elderly man was hit by a two-wheeler, in which he bounced several feet in the air and fell about 50 feet away. The accident was so severe that the old man died on the spot.
The accident happened on the Pune-Morgaon highway at 4 pm on Sunday (May 15). The accident was captured in a CCTV camera installed in a roadside dhaba. In the video that has surfaced, the fault of the bike rider is visible. He was riding a bike at a very high speed. Based on the video, the police registered a case and arrested the accused on Monday (May 16) morning.
The elderly man who lost his life in the accident has been identified as Mohan Lashkar.
