Pune: Elderly Woman Died In Gas Cylinder Explosion In Chakan, Eight Injured
Chakan, 22nd December 2022: A gas cylinder exploded in a two-storied building in the Ranubaimala area of Chakan and an elderly woman died in this explosion.
The incident took place on Wednesday (December 21) around 8.30 pm. The explosion was so loud that the wall of the building collapsed and eight people were injured. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital.
Chandrabhaga Pandurang Birdavde (75) died in this explosion, while Laxmibai Birdavde (78), Tukaram Parashuram Birdavde, Sangeeta Suresh Birdavde (40), Akshay Suresh Birdavde (18), Vaishnavi alias Tai Suresh Birdavde (20) suffered minor injuries.
