Pune: Elpro International School Holds Investiture Ceremony for Student Council 2026

Pimpri Chinchwad, 16th July 2026: There is something quietly powerful about watching a young person step forward, accept a badge, and in that moment, choose to be responsible for something larger than themselves.

That is precisely what unfolded at Elpro International School, Pune, as it held its Investiture Ceremony for the Student Council 2026, a celebration not just of titles, but of trust.

In a proceeding filled with pride, purpose, and more than a few proud parents in the audience, badges and sashes were conferred upon the newly elected council members of the Secondary and Senior Secondary wings. Each name called was a story of a student who had earned the confidence of their peers and teachers alike.

P Pranav Venkatram stepped up as Head Boy and Navya Sadhu as Head Girl, ready to lead the council together. Shubhan Venkatesh and Paavni Sahai take on the roles of Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl respectively, with Janhavi Gandhi as Convenor. Aryaa Dodani will captain Sports, Stutya Pandey will lead Culture, and Aayera Akhter will uphold Discipline three pillars that keep a school community thriving.

Pranav Prakash, Sia Gaur, Aanya Goel, and Garrvisha Bhatia were honoured as Student Ambassadors young voices chosen to carry the school’s spirit beyond its walls.

The four houses found their new captains too Vivaan Khanna for Vayu, Asmi Raut for Prithvi, Anirudh Ghate for Agni, and Avni Mrunal Patil for Jal each inheriting the pride and energy of their house communities. They are supported by a committed team of Vice House Captains, Head Prefects, and portfolio leads including Dhriti Amrut Khodke (Community Service), Ishika Varghese (Editorial Board), and Navjot Kaur R. Sabarwal (Green Warriors).

Chief Guest Lieutenant General Sudarshan Shrikant Hasabnis (retd) brought the weight of lived experience to his address, reminding the students that real leadership is not about the badge on your chest it is about the integrity you carry when no one is watching.

Director Principal Dr Amrita Vohra spoke with characteristic warmth, urging the council to lead with their hearts as much as their minds because the leaders who are remembered are rarely the loudest in the room, but always the kindest.

As the ceremony drew to a close, one thing was clear Elpro had not just appointed a student council. It had lit a flame.
