Pune: Embassy REIT Funds Infrastructure Upgrades At Government School Near Hinjawadi, Benefits Over 400 Students

This initiative aims to empower businesses to create a meaningful impact, provide assistance and resources, foster a culture of collective action, and facilitate corporate contributions to the community.

In June 2023, the company partnered with the Department of Education, Maharashtra, to improve the infrastructure of the Zilla Parishad Primary School in Marunji. Vaishali Mansing Jadhav, the Headmistress of Zilla Parishad Primary School, expressed gratitude towards Embassy REIT for their support, stating, “This will go a long way in increasing enrollment and creating a safe and conducive learning environment. The initiative will enable underprivileged children to succeed academically and reach their full potential.”
Embassy’s commitment extends beyond infrastructure enhancement, as they also focus on empowering women through education. Through a partnership with the Lila Poonawala Foundation (LPF), they provide scholarships to academically outstanding and financially deserving female students to complete their four-year undergraduate degrees.
Recognizing the importance of holistic health, Embassy runs a comprehensive health and hygiene program across six government schools in Pune, benefiting over 5,900 students. Students receive preventive health kits containing essential items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and sanitary napkins. Health and hygiene awareness workbooks in Marathi further contribute to their overall well-being.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which posed a significant threat to public health, Embassy REIT stepped up its efforts by donating ten vital oxygen concentrators, each with a capacity of 10 litres per minute, to the Paud Rural Hospital and Dedicated COVID Healthcare Centre in Paud District, Pune. The company also undertook several other welfare initiatives during this challenging period.
