Pune: Employee Faces Legal Action for Misuse of Company’s Confidential Information

Chakan, 1st January 2024: A case has been registered against a former employee for allegedly misusing confidential information belonging to SKS Fasteners Ltd. (Unit – I). The incident is reported to have occurred between February 1, 2016, and July 26, 2023, at the company’s location on Ambethan Road, Chakan.

The registered employee, identified as Ajitkumar Bipin Bihari Tripathi (resident of Moshi), held the position of Deputy Manager in the Sales and Development Department during the specified period. The complainant, Munish Kundanlal Rathi (41) has filed the case at the Chakan police station (Pimpri Chinchwad Police), bringing attention to the alleged misuse of company secrets.

According to the police report, Ajitkumar, while serving as a Deputy Manager in the sales and development department, illicitly obtained confidential information from the company. Using the company-provided email account, he transferred this sensitive data to his email address. Subsequently, after departing from the company’s employ, the accused is said to have misused the proprietary information to offer products to the company’s customers at a reduced price, falsely claiming that it was to the detriment of the company.

The Chakan police have initiated an investigation into the case, examining the allegations made against Ajitkumar Bipin Bihari Tripathi. The nature of the breach raises concerns about the potential financial impact on SKS Fasteners Pvt. and the integrity of its operations.
