Pune: Employee Loots Owner For Not Giving Advance Salary Required For Wife’s Treatment

Kondhwa, 18th April 2022: Pune city police have arrested a man who beat his employer with a scythe with the help of friends for not paying his salary in advance as he required money for his wife’s treatment.

The arrested persons have been identified as Akash Suryakant Pawar (24), Mayur Uttam Kamble (21), Avinash Nagnath Suryavanshi (22), Aditya Satish Korde (20), all residents of Hadapsar. Pandurang Kurne (42), a resident of Warje Malwadi, has registered an FIR with the Kondhwa police station against them.

According to the police, Pandurang has a business selling dairy products. Akash Pawar was working for him. A few days ago, he asked Pandurang for an advance salary for his wife’s treatment. But the owner refused to pay.

On March 14, Pandurang was riding a two-wheeler carrying cash and a laptop. He had stopped in the Undri area to answer nature’s call when three persons accosted him and hit with a scythe and robbed him.

After getting information that the accused would arrive at Mantarwadi Phata, a trap was laid and they were arrested. They spilled the beans that Pawar had hatched the conspiracy to loot his employer.

The action was taken by a team comprising Senior Police Inspector Sardar Patil, Inspectors Jagannath Jankar and Gokul Raut, API Swapnil Patil, and police personnel Nilesh Desai, Jotiba Pawar, Tushar Alhat, Gorakshanath Chinke, Satish Chavan, Laxman Holkar and Kishore Wale.
