Pune: EPFO Akurdi Organizes UAN Activation Camp at Chakan

Pimpri Chinchwad, 6th December 2024: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Pune-Akurdi Regional Office, provides social security coverage to 69.58 lakh members and their families under the EPF Scheme, 1952, the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and the Employees’ Deposit-Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976.

To identify members, each is assigned a Universal Account Number (UAN). EPF members can access online services, including filing claims, only after creating and activating their UAN login. Therefore, all EPF members must create their UAN login through the “Activate UAN” functionality available under “Important Links” on the EPFO Unified Portal.

In this regard, a UAN activation camp has been organized in collaboration with the Federation of Chakan Industries, starting from December 5, 2024, and will continue until December 13, 2024. The camp is located at the Federation of Chakan Industries office, B-24, Vaishali Complex, Ambethan Chowk, Chakan, Taluka – Chakan, Pune 410501.

The camp was inaugurated by entrepreneur Jayant Kadaji, and Ramesh N Pravartan, Rauf Sheikh, and Shri Dilip Batwal, Secretary, Federation of Chakan Industries, were present on the occasion.

Additionally, a UAN activation help desk has been set up at the Regional Provident Fund Office, Akurdi, Sector 28, Pune. Regional Commissioner K Ravindra Kumar has appealed to members who joined after April 1, 2024, to activate their UAN themselves or seek help from the help desk at Chakan or Akurdi.

Regional PF Commissioner-II Minhaj Asgar has also appealed to all members and stakeholders to activate their UAN immediately to easily access PF-related facilities.
