Pune Faces Water Supply Disruption as PMC Conducts System Maintenance

Pune, 3rd June 2025: Several neighborhoods across Pune will experience a planned disruption in water services this Friday (6th June), as the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) undertakes essential maintenance and pipeline connection activities at the Parvati HLR Chowk mechanical water supply facility.

Officials from the PMC Water Supply Department have confirmed that the scheduled maintenance will take place from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on 6th June. During these hours, water supply will be temporarily suspended in the targeted zones. Residents should also anticipate lower-than-usual water pressure throughout 7th June morning, as the system gradually returns to full operation.

The areas set to be impacted include:Taware Colony, Wakadewadi, Income Tax Colony, Parvati Industrial Estate, Trimurti Garden, Arambhag Cooperative Housing Society, Ganga Nagar, Mahatma Society, Shivganga, Dhankawadi, Mahadev Nagar, Aarti Nagar, sections of Mukund Nagar, Prem Nagar, HDE Colony, parts of Masulkar Colony, and the Tilak Road vicinity.

PMC authorities are urging residents in these localities to collect and store sufficient water in advance to meet their needs during the outage. The civic body also advises residents to stay informed and comply with any additional instructions issued by the PMC to minimize inconvenience.
