Upon the doubts being raised, BJP’s Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis has revealed said, “Prime Minister Modi sincerely asked Ajit Pawar to speak and went ahead. So are such questions being raised, a conspiracy against him?”

The inauguration ceremony of Jagadguru Santshrestha Tukaram Maharaj Shila Mandir was held at the hands of the Prime Minister in Dehu. Devendra Fadnavis, Narendra Modi and Nitin Maharaj More, President of Dehu Sansthan were among the leaders who were present on the stage and made a speech.

However, questions were raised like “Why was Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar of Maharashtra not allowed to speak?”

Fadnavis further said, “Prime Minister Modi sincerely asked Pawar. When Pawar’s name was not mentioned on the stage, Prime Minister Modi himself asked Ajit Pawar if he’ll speak. But Pawar told PM to go ahead.”

As per the schedule of the program released (after the program) by Baramati MP and NCP leader Supriya Sule, Pawar’s name was not mentioned as the speaker.
