Nagpur, 16th June 2022: In the Nagpur district of Maharashtra, the news of a private bank ATM withdrawing five times more money has come to the fore. A person who went to withdraw 500 rupees got 2500 rupees from the ATM. The person was shocked to find five times more money and he tried to withdraw the money again, in which he again got 2500 rupees instead of five hundred. The incident took place at an ATM of a private bank in Kharparkheda town, 30 km from Nagpur.

The news of this ATM spread very quickly in the area. After this, people gathered at the ATM. On getting information about this, the police reached out and got the ATM closed. Police said that Rs 500 notes were mistakenly kept in the tray of Rs 100 notes in the ATM. So far no case has been registered in this regard.

One should not panic if they get mutilated notes or less cash out of the ATM. The bank will help the customer in every possible way after conducting a check.

ATMs installed outside a bank branch are called on-site ATMs. If there is a problem while withdrawing cash from there, one should immediately contact the bank.

If there is a problem after 4 pm, then the cash should be counted in front of the CCTV camera installed in the ATM. If mutilated notes come out, the same should be done. The problem can be solved by contacting the branch in the morning.

ATMs located away from the bank branch are off-site ATMs. The branch code and the number of the bank are written inside the off-site ATMs. If there is a problem regarding cash, then one can contact the bank by showing the money in front of the CCTV camera.
