Pune: Fatal Two-Wheeler Accident Takes Life of 26-Year-Old on BRT Road in Ravet
Ravet, 30th November 2023: A fatal two-wheeler accident took place on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) road in Bhondve Vasti, resulting in the death of a 26-year-old youth identified as Akshay Jayakumar Ohol from Chinchwad.
The incident occurred when Ohol, riding his two-wheeler, attempted to overtake another bike on the BRT road and collided with a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) bus. The impact of the collision, occurring at high speed, left Ohol critically injured. Despite immediate efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
The PMPML bus driver, involved in the accident, promptly reported the incident to the Ravet police station.
