Pune: Father Arrested for Brutal Murder of Three-Year-Old Daughter in Pimpri Chinchwad
Dehu Road, 14th June 2023: A horrifying incident has shocked the Chincholi area of Pimpri Chinchwad as a father brutally killed his three-year-old daughter by smashing her head against a wall. The tragic incident took place at around 10 am on Monday, leading to the immediate arrest of the father by the Dehu Road police.
The arrested individual, identified as 22-year-old Mahadev Narayan Gaikwad from Chincholi, has been taken into custody following a complaint filed by Police Constable Kishore Babanrao Dutonde.
According to the police investigation, the three-year-old girl was crying inside the house, which enraged her father, Mahadev. In a fit of anger, he mercilessly beat the child with a wooden stick used for beating clothes. He also kicked her in the abdoman and smashed her head against the wall, resulting in her untimely demise.
The accused father has been charged under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Police is currently conducting further investigations into the heart-wrenching incident.
