Pune: Finolex Industries and Mukul Madhav Foundation Celebrate Five Years of ‘Give with Dignity’, Spreading Hope and Happiness Across India

Pune, 27th October 2025: Finolex Industries Limited and its CSR arm, Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF), have successfully completed the fifth edition of their flagship ‘Give with Dignity™’ campaign. What began as a pandemic relief effort in 2020 has grown into a nationwide movement of hope.

Since 2020, Team MMF and Team Finolex have stepped away from traditional festive gifting and channelled those resources toward the Give with Dignity™ initiative, directing funds to communities that are often overlooked. Through this effort, MMF and Finolex reach underserved and vulnerable communities, including rickshaw drivers, daily wage earners, people with disabilities, farm workers, and transgender and tribal communities across India.

MMF partners with self-help groups, local MSMEs, and women entrepreneurs to source, assemble, and distribute ration, festive, and hygiene kits. This initiative not only supports livelihoods but also strengthens local communities through the philosophy of “Buy Local, Give Local.” Each kit is regionally crafted with ingredients of nutritional value, and the diyas are handcrafted by people with disabilities, ensuring that the act of giving also sustains a chain of earning. In its fifth year, 10,000 kits have been distributed across 11 states — Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Punjab, and West Bengal.

Since its inception in 2020, Give with Dignity™ has served over three lakh individuals across 24 states, with the support of corporates, donors, and NGOs. Between 2020 and 2025, through this initiative, the MMF team has distributed over 1,00,000 dignity kits, revived 120 self-help groups (SHGs) through procurement, and assisted 30 SHGs in registering as MSMEs. In its first edition, the campaign collaborated with 40 corporates, including six multinationals, and supported over 4,500 frontline workers, with support from 10 heads of state and dignitaries.

Speaking about the initiative, Mrs. Ritu Prakash Chhabria, Managing Trustee, Mukul Madhav Foundation, said:

“Over the past five years, Diwali has not just been about distributing kits; we have been sharing hope, respect, and the warmth of human kindness. Our goal is to ensure that the festival’s joy reaches every corner of society — especially those who are often overlooked. This initiative embodies our belief that true celebration lies in uplifting others and spreading light where it is needed most. I thank the corporates, retail donors, and on-ground partners who came forward to join hands in the midst of the pandemic and displayed how collaboration can move mountains. I remain grateful to the Finolex Management and Board of Directors for continuing to support this vision that began during the pandemic in 2020. Each year, the campaign reminds us that compassion can spark change far beyond what we imagine, creating ripples of unity and dignity across communities.”

The ‘Give with Dignity™’ initiative represents a dream that took shape five years ago during the pandemic and continues to grow stronger with each edition.
