Pune: FIR Filed Against Man For Chasing Woman And Trying To Sexually Assault Her In Koregaon Park
Koregaon Park, 27th January 2023: A man chased a woman home and then tried to sexually assault her. The accused attacked the woman and attempted to molest her as the victim was walking home. The woman was able to get away.
An FIR has been filed in connection with the incident that happened at Koregaon Park’s lane C.
The Koregaon Park police station has received a complaint from a 28-year-old woman. In lane C of Koregaon Park, the accused was seen standing next to his motorcycle next to a structure. He was making an offensive gesture.
The girl disregarded him and entered her building through the nearby gate. He grabbed her and dragged her to the ground. She was able to escape his grasp as he attempted to sexually abuse her. She returned home and told her family what had happened. The accused had vanished when the family members arrived.
Police are investigating the case.
