Pune: Fire At Largo Pizzeria Outlet In Kharadi, No Casualty Reported

Kharadi, 18th May 2024: A fire broke out at the Largo Pizzeria outlet in Kharadi early this morning. The incident was reported at 5:03 AM, prompting a swift response from Yerwada Fire Station.

A fire brigade vehicle and a water tanker were dispatched to the scene immediately. Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed with the hotel owner that no workers were inside the building. They then commenced efforts to extinguish the blaze. Within twenty minutes, the fire was brought under control, followed by a cooling operation to prevent any resurgence.

A major disaster was averted when firefighters safely removed six gas cylinders from the hotel’s kitchen area. Their prompt action ensured that the fire did not spread to surrounding areas. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but significant damage was reported, including the destruction of two ovens, seven refrigerators, a TV, a computer, electrical wiring, and other materials.

No casualties or injuries were reported in this incident.
