Pune : Fire Breaks Out At Company In Chikhali, No Casualty Reported
Pune 6th Sept 2023: A fire was reported at a company located in Chikhali area earlier on Wednesday. The material kept inside the company was gutted into the fire and no casualty or injury was reported. The officials of the fire brigade team of Pimpri Chinchwad were immediately rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control.
According to the fire brigade team, the fire call was received at 9:42 am from Tejas Centring And Construction Equipment company located in the Shelarwadi, Chikhali area. Four vehicles of the fire brigade were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control. However, the material kept in the office and paint booth of the company including furniture, documents, computer and laptop etc. was gutted into the fire.
The fire broke out after a thinner kept near the grinding machine in the paint booth caught fire. Since thinner is an inflammable material the fire spread rapidly engulfing the whole office and paint booth of the company. Fortunately, the employees of the company working here managed to escape in time. A total of 22 officials of the fire brigade team were involved in the operation, said the fire brigade department.
