Pune: Fire Breaks Out at Keshav Nagar, Lonkar Chowk; No Injuries Reported

Mundhwa, 26th March 2025: A fire broke out in three shops at Keshav Nagar, Lonkar Chowk, around 9:23 AM on Tuesday morning. Firefighters from Hadapsar Fire Station and BT Kavade Road Fire Station responded swiftly, bringing the fire under control before it could spread further.
According to fire department officials, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. However, the shops suffered significant material losses as goods were completely gutted by the fire. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation is underway.
The firefighting operation was carried out by personnel from Hadapsar Fire Station, including driver Kiran Shinde, firemen Ganesh Pavale, Babasaheb Chavan, Chandrakant Navale, Avinash Dhakne, and Amol Shirsat, along with firefighters from BT Kavade Road Fire Station, including driver Shubham Dume, Tandel Sandeep Ranadive, Harshal Pawar, and Pranay Kavade.
Residents in the area praised the quick response of the fire brigade, which prevented the fire from spreading to nearby establishments.
