The fire brigade teams from Kasba Fire Station, Naidu Fire Station and the headquarter rushed to control the fire. Reportedly, no death and injuries were registered in the accident.
Jayesh Shah, owner of a company, had stored the company documents in the basement in the area of 3000 sq ft where the fire broke. He had sealed all the premises with an iron net.
The fire broke out at 5.12 am and fire brigade officials successfully doused the fire at around 5.31 am.
An officer said, “Due to the lack of ventilation in the building, the smoke generated by the fire was not having any space to leave. When we reached there, it was not possible to go inside due to the heavy smoke. We had to break the iron net and successfully saved 25-30% of the company’s documents.”
