Pune: Fire Breaks Out in Two Godowns in Mantarwadi, Devachi Urali; No Casualties Reported
Pune, 25th June 2023 – Two godowns in Mantarwadi and Devachi Urali areas of Pune were engulfed in flames today at 03:27 AM, resulting in significant damage to the stored wooden goods and other combustible materials. A total of 8 fire-fighting vehicles from Pune Fire Brigade and PMRDA (Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority) rushed to the scene to combat the blaze, along with a team of dedicated firefighters.
The fire, which caused panic among local residents, was swiftly brought under control by the joint efforts of the fire department personnel. Thankfully, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation will be conducted to ascertain the factors that led to the outbreak.
The prompt response by the fire authorities and their efficient firefighting techniques prevented the fire from spreading to nearby structures and mitigated the potential risks.
