Pune: Fire Engulfs Godown In Wagholi Filled with Dairy Products, No Casualties Reported
Wagholi, 31st May 2023: A fire broke out in a godown located on Pune-Ahmednagar Road in the Wagholi area on the outskirts of Pune city. No casualties or injuries were reported.
The godown, filled with dairy products including cheese, milk, butter, and cream, became engulfed in flames around 4 am this morning. The fire was eventually brought under control by the efforts of two fire tenders from the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA).
However, the incident resulted in significant damage to the products, amounting to lakhs of rupees, as well as a pickup tempo. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
